I translated the above book from English to Persian in September 1995, but unfortunately I couldn't publish it due to my publisher's economical problems. Since this novel is one of the best stories written by Alexander Pushkin, I decided to present only a brief part of the tale which printed on the back cover of the book as below:

"So all is over," he said to himself. "Only this morning I had a roof over my head. Tomorrow I shall have to abandon the house I was born in, the house in which my father died, to the man who caused his death and my impoverishment."

"It is you who have saved him. I had intended to perpetrate my first bloody action against him. I was walking round his mansion, deciding where the fire was to break out, from what place to enter his bedchamber, how to cut off his way of escape-when you passed by, like a heavenly apparition, and my heart was humbled. I told myself that the house inhabited by you was sacred, that not a single creature bound to you by ties of blood could be subject to my curse. I dismissed as sheer madness all thought of revenge."

Thus, I advise every one to read this interesting book. In addition, I'm consulting with some friends of mine for publishing a complete translation of the book in Persian. If I'm able to do that, I'll present both the original and translation script of the book in my website.
